Pondok Pesantren At-Tauhidiyyah Giren
The center of religious tourism in the village is Pondok Pesantren At-Tauhidiyyah, founded by KH. Said bin KH. Armia. The Islamic boarding school has become a hub for religious education and spirituality, as well as a pilgrimage site for Muslims. In 2018, the Tegal Regency Government officially launched Kaligayam Village and Pesayangan Village as religious tourism destinations, with Ponpes At-Tauhidiyyah as the main attraction.
