The tomb of Sheikh Datuk Kahfi is located in Pagongan Village, Dukuhturi District, Tegal Regency, precisely on Jl. Sheikh Datuk Kahfi RT 2 RW 1. From the center of Tegal City, this location can be reached in just 20 minutes.

Sheikh Datuk Kahfi is known as one of the scholars who spread Islam in the Tegal region. Although his origins are not well documented, his title "Datuk" indicates that he likely came from Sumatra. His influence in Islamic propagation was so significant that he even attracted the attention of the Walisongo (Wali Songo) and important figures from the Demak Sultanate to visit Tegal. During this time, he introduced his students and expanded his Islamic network.
